The Trail is privately run, annually, and is usually on the second weekend in October (although the date set is at the discretion of the Organiser) and is funded solely by the small entrance fees paid by the Participants and the goodwill of the Organiser, who all live or work on their art within the parameters of the brochure map. The trail is a put together by the Organiser to market the event  as a collective, but with each venue and its Organiser or Organisers being autonomous during the weekend - arranging and being responsible for their own sales. No further commission is taken by the organiser of Chew Valley Arts Trail for work sold.  We hope you will support  them either by kind words or purchases.
